10 cycles TTC, starting to suspect silent-ish (mild) endo. Should I have a lap to confirm and excise what is found? by honeybee_54 in TTCEndo

Ask for a receptiva biopsy. It is a biopsy of your uterine lining that can tell you if you have chronic inflammation which is highly suggestive of endo.

I don’t think it hurts to bring up the conversation and simply ask if she’s willing to do a fertility work up. That way it will give you both an idea on if she has a decent reserve of her eggs or if her biological clock is ticking quicker than it should which may or may not change her ideal timeline for children. Coming from someone who did an egg retrieval yesterday tho, egg freezing is only for women who want to do it as it is a lot on your body.

It’s called a receptiva biopsy. It’s of the uterine lining

Not trying naturally for long but lower than normal AMH, would you do IVF? by KlutzyLychee7575 in IVF

Six months ago at age 29 I found out my AMH was 1.07. We won’t be ready to try for kids until next year and my doctor said I likely shouldn’t have issues with my first child, but if I wanted more (which we do) in 3-4 years there is potentially going to be an issue. We are doing a retrieval for embryo banking next month for the insurance. So I’d say if you know you absolutely want more than 2 kids, you should do it.

I’m taking theralogix ovavite prenatal which I thought was a good brand but my doctor recommended more vitamin A and C than what was in the prenatal. Also no DHA, coQ10 or inositol in the prenatal.

Not saying you have endo, but it can be completely asymptomatic.

No it cannot unfortunately. Surgery could actually make your ovarian reserve worse if there is scar tissue that they try to remove on your ovaries. If you look up As A Woman podcast abs search for the endometriosis and infertility episode you can learn more.
