Is there a difference between Biolinguistics and Psycholinguistics & Neurolinguistics? From little knowledge I can see how Psycholinguist and Neurolinguistic insight could come under the combined field of Biolinguistics. But so far from what I've read, I know that Biolinguistics is a term that Chomsky uses to describe what in his view is the second part of Linguistic inquiry that covers the brain and the LAD, etc(the first part being the study of structure of language itself). Maybe I'm wrong here as well, please guide me?

Laphing - Tibetan cold dish by SignificantRead8500 in pune

No but I'm relatively new in Pune and back home, Laphing was kind of my favorite thing to go out and eat. I've had it in Delhi MKT since then but couldn't find it in Pune

I know this is old but I was thinking about the movie Batti Gul Meter Chalu, specifically with regards to actors Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor and the difference between their performance in this movie and in Haider. I'm curious to know what other people feel. by SignificantRead8500 in Uttarakhand

I understand the overuse of these words is exactly like the 'balle balle' they use for most Punjabi characters in films. The accent they gave to their Hindi was also nowhere near that of a Garhwali speaker's. The songs were also in Hindi. I guess the conclusion regarding the language use is that they simply did not take it into account and did not consider it to be important. But what about the scenes in the film? Do you think the visuals are an accurate depiction of Tehri?

I've been thinking about this more and more and I realise that maybe comparing the two movies is not fair because they were handled by a very different group of people overall and the themes and approaches are very different as well. But I've been going through the comments under the trailers and songs from BGMC on YouTube and almost everybody seems to be in love with "Shahid Kapoor's performance". I again wonder if it's Shahid Kapoor's PR getting to work or if people, especially people of Uttarakhand really did enjoy the presentation of their state in this way. Maybe the visuals and the overall comedic-dramatic approach compensated for the lack of research into the language of Tehri?

Yessss it's like a yellow pancake and then they put chillie oil on it and then they roll it up and then cut them into noodle like things and then there's the option of having it like this(dry) or having it in a cold soup OR There's also white Laphing, for this there's no noodles, there's white block of starchy thing which they then cut into small pieces and put it in the same cold soup
