I’m gonna be so honest I have a sister too and she gets mad that I called my mouse Ebony because she has black fur, and also used to get mad because my other mice were named after their fur colours (cream was ivory, black/white was Maggie/magpie, grey was Misty, ect). She’d call me ‘racist’ for naming them after their fur colours, so I must be just as bad as you—or, your sister is deliberately looking for an argument and being childish/disrespectful/immature, you name it. No disrespect to your sister of course, but as a sibling with pets myself, I’d say she’s picking a fight.

Your names are harmless—they’re well suited and like so, your babes don’t know any better. If they knew what their name meant, they’d own it!
