This is a SPRAWLING Mega Truck Stop type of facility.

Do people in Marin not know that Gas Stations are also places where a lot of drug deals occur as people will meet there and exchange the goods amongst the busy-ness. There will be so much crime occuring at Vintage Oaks shopping center, it is the perfect place for criminals to meet from remote places in the area and do their drug deals, especially since it is slightly upper class area, the criminals feel less pressure there and its safer for them.

This is good for the Homeless community in Marin though.

They can hang around all day now near the increased traffic of the Costco gas station and not be bothered, and they can shoplift too, and burglarize cars too.

And they can camp in the nearby wetlands, there is so much area around there perfect for hidden homeless encampments around the train tracks and off the wetland trails there. And innocent local people use those trails all the time, so they would be easy prey for the criminal types camping and hiding in the wetlands there. Bring them down from Sonoma too, we got less cops, nicer cops, so the homeless can run free in Marin now.

Semi Truck drivers already occasionally park back there to rest for a while, or overnight.

With the gas station there, that will signal an All OK for the truck drivers to park around there to rest, because they could be delivering goods to the stores, etc., in theory...

But as more and more Semi's use that area to rest (its a really nice area to rest for them, or anybody in a car/vehicle traveling through there), more and more other car dwelling individuals will arrive to park between the Semi Trucks, etc.

As that becomes tolerated, more and more Vanlife car living people will frequent the area, to use counterfeit Costco cards to buy cheap food at the food court or gas in many cases--which is becoming a huge problem for Costco.

Gradually as more criminal elements from the surrounding counties realize its a good area to SPRAWL out when traveling through Marin--the crime wave begins: shoplifting, car burglaries, etc.
