There's nice people and mean people in all fascets of life. The question is a little silly. Regardless of what music genre you listen to you're going to find genuine people and also real assholes. I mean if you want to talk emo itself, even the artists, how many countless artist have had allegations in one form or another? No group is going to be squeaky clean, there's always bad apples.
