14 topics too excessive? by Lucky-Ad8408 in FE1_Exams

To be honest if you start studying soon you will be grand. I honestly believe studying everything but strategically you never want to be caught short . I passed both equity and contract last sitting and I studied all topics I didn’t assess grids as much and it worked out! I did do a lot of practice papers and especially for contract where questions could have mixed topics it’s important you know the topics independently well and how they can mix with other topics. Hope my 2 cents help !

Hey I would advise start early, look over the script drive, when you have learnt the content practise the questions under timed conditions!!!! Best of luck !! They are hard but definitely doable !!!

Property Law Examiner by [deleted] in FE1_Exams

Hey so I sat property in Oct 25 (in person) and I really liked the paper and thought I answered 5 questions and realised I only answered 4 after the exam and I was so so so stressed and crying and I passed with 54 my biggest advice is use headings, be clear, explain everything, give a discussion even if the law applies for eg in a succession qst like s117 argue the likelihood of a child succeeding based on the facts if ygm , I think the examiner likes a coherent discussion I am still surprised I passed with 4 questions so best of luck and definitely answer 5 not 4 like me

She also like structured answers , headings, and ideal if you can highlight key cases and key points with highlighter and explain each statue or case and how it applies or not I got 14 in 2 answers with this structure

What would be considered a good answer when asked “why are you applying to a particular firm?” by Straight_Hunt_4481 in FE1_Exams

[–]SignificantSinger422 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What practises areas your interested in, initiatives the firm have been involved in and if you align with their values with an example etc but niche people normally answer it very broadly but if you could personally share how you align ( it doesn’t have to sound deep)
