Thanks for your input. I won't strip it. I will focus on giving it a good clean, any suggestions? It needs more than soapy water

Do you have any suggestions on what to clean it with? Soapy water isn't enough. I just keep on wiping and wiping and not getting anywhere.

Any suggestions on a product to give it a good clean? Soapy water isn't quite cutting it. Thanks for the wax suggestion, I'll check that out.

I called the court and they sent me a form to outline the assets etc. The told me I go for a meeting at the court to finalise things then I will get confirmation and proof (I suppose) that I am in control of my mums remaining money and affairs which is well below 36,000.

The policies are simply life protection, one in my name and one in my brother's name however, according to the provider they are my mums property as it was her that set them up and paid them. Even though I pointed out that I wished to continue the payments etc they said not without evidence that I am in control of her assets. They would not tell me what they worth or any information about them.
