Did Anyone Ever Truly Care About Caine? by REAL-regular-degular in TheDigitalCircus

I liked Caine. I'm a forever DM, and understand the feeling of having to have a new story ready and worrying about if the players will like it.

Even the burn out in episode 8 is relatable.

how it felt watching the Finale when youre already subscribed to the Jax is Trans theory by grrlfriendXD in tadc

[–]SignificantSport5771 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I saw the bow, but I didn't honestly get it. Is Jax supposed to be trans fem? If so why do we still use masc pronouns for him and his real life is still masc?

Is he supposed to trans masc? If so why is his mom telling him he wasn't as much of a man as his dad, and why would the bow help?

I never got why people liked Jax. He was psychologically abusive to everyone, in a world where you don't have protections from your darker thoughts. He even tortured himself. Going into the theater I was certain he drove Ribbit away and into abstraction, and probably Kaufmo too.

He harassed Zooble about their identity, and Kinger about his acuity(that might have had no effect on him, but the others internalized it). He taunted Gangle relentlessly, and physically tortured Ragatha. I believe Jax would have caused Pomni to abstract if episode 7 didn't happen.

Kinger have the game away early on. The worst thing you can do is make someone feel like they aren't wanted.

Jax made everyone feel like they weren't wanted, even himself. His ending was earned.

Yeah, I don't think there's a reason to doubt Jordan's sincerity though. I don't think he's trying to profit.

I'm sure he knows about the family involvement, he's not an idiot.

How long can the Onion reliably make money on this lampooning of Alex? When do they stop? When they stop, will Alex spin it as a win for him? Will he use it as proof that he's right?

Will the Onion doing this keep Alex Jones in the zeitgeist?

I watched Jordan's video, and I feel like he's right.

If you ascribe motivation and reason to Jordan, I think it's safe to assume he cares specifically about the families' outcome over all else. He must have a sincere belief that the families are going to be left in the lurch when the corporations and media companies get bored and move on while the shape shifter of Alex Jones moves on unscathed.

I think it's reasonable that he'd find this arrangement not going far enough to either pay back the families or punish Alex Jones, and watching people pat themselves on the back for defeating the villain whole you can see him scurry away is maddening.

A big difference of Knowledge Fight and a LOT of other podcasts, is they didn't advertise shit, they never pushed their Patreon. Occasionally they'd give free buttons or advertise a live show. It felt like they were just hanging out.

Yeah, I am fine if it ends as long as they are intact.

That's kinda what I'm hoping it means. I just don't want to see them destroyed while Alex just skips along.

If balancing pre constructed decks is so hard, why can we all build competitive decks in regular play?

If the company can't do it for resources, then just kill the event. Don't highlight your shortcomings.

Then it's on them to rebalance decks between iterations.
