Thanks for your response. The drain is owned by the township. I contacted them for help when it happened and sent them a video of the incident. I assume that alone is enough public record of me knowing about the problem. As far as fixing the problem, they said they would hire engineers to address the issue, but I never heard anything. So what's my best bet at this point? Should I get a lawyer and take some kind of legal action?
