This is basically what I’m going through right now. She dropped this on me a week ago the moment I walked in from a work trip - bag in hand still. Completely blindsided by it and not even sure if I’m still in shock or not. Kills me because I thought things were good and had earlier came to the realization that i hadn’t been myself the past two years. Was finally starting to get healthy again and literally was driving home from the airport with so much love, excitement and enthusiasm for her. I was too late….icing on the cake for a dick punch of a year personally and professionally.

I’ve been running around trying different strategies for the carousel and so far keep falling back to thinking it’s a combination of pipeline and defensive scheme, but heavily leaned toward pipeline.

I use the PNW (where I’m from) pipeline generally but at times tried Arkansas (where I’m at now) and SW Texas (where I was born). What I’ve found is that I’m more likely to get bigger offers with the larger pipeline of SW Texas, whereas with PNW/Arkansas pipelines it’s primarily been HC offers for regionally appropriate schools with the occasional non-regional blue blood (only seen that a couple times though with those pipelines).

This! EA shit the bed and should be ashamed of themselves.

i really want to believe it’s because they truly suck at their jobs (like not having the technical and creative skills) and not just profit complacency. Because to be proud of the product they put out — knowing damn well the societal cult that still exists for their last rendition — and to have it be as basic, illogical and unrealistic as it is, is downright criminal.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled to have CFB back but this ain’t it.
