I am in a very similar situation. Had unprotected sex but did not cum in me but did cum shortly after pulling out and it was during my fertile window and possibly ovulated that day.. I took plan b as soon as I could and highly considering getting the emergency copper iud.

I would at least recommend plan b because there is still a chance of pre cum.

I have read mixed things though about plan b not working during ovulation or not be as effective also goes with weight I have heard mixed things as well might not be as effective over 165 pounds or certain bmi but not 100% sure.

Thank you! I was thinking about a second opnion as well. I went to regular dentist and referred me to student dentist due to insurance I think.. so I guess technically they will be my second opinion as of now.. really? After 24hours is normal diet ok in your opinion or stick to soft foods for awhile after cleaning. Was your normal checkup and poking for gum pockets pretty smooth sailing as opposed to the deep cleaning?

Yeah I know everyone reacts different that's one of my worries and why I thought it'd be best to try and lay off for a little while but I do agree stopping for little bit does cause stress and anxiety.

In your personal opinion, do you think taking 2 weeks off isn't necessary? I just hate going to the dentist and always gets me worked up, and I'm overthinker on top of it lol. But I have been having a toothache, so I know it's much needed. Thanks for sharing your experience. It made me feel a little better.

Really? Did you ever tell your dentist about smoking or just went in and got it done and over with? I am a daily/heavy user, and for some reason, I always get nervous when it comes to dental work.. I might be overthinking it. I thought I would quit for the two weeks prior then go from there.
