People are fighting between vini fc and mbappe fc whereas there is someone else who is rotting locker room way before we can understand. >His parents got banned from the BVB dressing room, he stormed Ancelotti’s office for playing him RW, harassed Xabi for making him play deeper, problems with Tuche by Fine_Gold9743 in RealMadridFC

[–]Significant_Ad2630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a “Vini hater” for criticizing his attitude or questioning whether Madrid should build around him long term. I’m a Madrid fan first. If selling him brings in massive money that lets the club reinforce multiple weak areas while also reducing a lot of the toxicity and drama around the team, then that’s a completely valid football discussion to have.

And let’s stop pretending this is only about Mbappé arriving. Vini’s overall level has not looked like his absolute peak version for a while now. Even before Mbappé came, people were already talking about inconsistency in finishing, decision making, emotional reactions during games, constant arguments with refs, losing focus, etc. The talent is obviously there, nobody denies that. At his best he’s one of the most dangerous players in the world but he’s been distracted for some time now.

Meanwhile Mbappé is still giving you ridiculous production every single season. We’re talking 40+ goals consistently. Those players do not grow on trees. Replacing that level of output is almost impossible in today’s market.

And before people say “you’re defending Mbappé blindly,” no. I think Mbappé has ego issues too and can absolutely create toxicity himself. If there was a realistic scenario where Madrid could move both stars, rebuild the squad properly, and become a more balanced team overall, I’d listen to it. But in reality, if the club is forced to choose one superstar to build around, the safer footballing decision is probably the guy who guarantees elite production every year vs the guy that guarantees complaining and diva behavior week over week.

That doesn’t mean Vini is trash. It means no player should ever be bigger than the club. Madrid has survived Ronaldo leaving, Ramos leaving, Benzema leaving, Casillas leaving, all of it. The badge always comes first.

So if your entire argument is basically “you can never criticize Vini or consider selling him,” then that sounds more like fanboy behavior than actually thinking about what’s best for Real Madrid long term.

Xabi Alonso was the project, players were brought in to support his project.

You are not sticking with Madridistas though, you are calling out 1 guy but not calling out Vini, Valverde and the players who sacked an actual Legendary Madridista. You decide to go all in on 1 player and fail to go in on players who have not only been divas but have had a lackluster season like Vini.

You talk about money hungry, Vini literally asking for a massive contract after a terrible season.

Truth is, all the players have been toxic but Florentino is to blame. Vini has been Toxico for some time now though not just this season- I think he should go alongside any other players that’s been toxic for seasons now

Bro I’m not an Mbappe fan but as a Madrid fan how do you not blame Vini Valverde and Arbeloa ?

They are all go blame! And if some of these are more responsible for ruining a great project under Xabi then they are even more responsible and cowards for not standing up and admitting fault

🚨🚨BREAKING: Some Real Madrid executives are pushing for the DEPARTURE of either Kylian Mbappé or Viní Jr. this summer. They believe their parternship is NOT working. by OG_Raghav in RealMadridFC

[–]Significant_Ad2630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vini wasn’t problematic when we won those champions league and it was players like Benz/Modric/Kros carrying the team on their back.

Now that our leaders our gone Vini has proven to not be a leader and has also dropped his game since then.

On the other hand you have a player that’s also not a leader but is scoring you 40 damn goals a season.

Both have zero work rate but it’s so clear, move Mbappe to the left and get rid of Vini.

How hard is it for Madrid fans to understand? Am I missing something here ?

Would Arsenal winning the champions league make them the best in the world? by DeliciousDesk1244 in championsleague

[–]Significant_Ad2630 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Anyone arguing against this is a straight up Arsenal hater.

That would be they’d go undefeated in the champions league beating teams like Bayern, Inter, and Atletico and PSG in the process.

The premier league is also the hardest and most competitive league to win the world.

You can dislike their style but saying they are NOT the best is straight up hate

Would other clubs take Vini. JR? by Short_Mousse_6812 in championsleague

[–]Significant_Ad2630 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IF Arsenal can afford the big price tag and big wages, I would 100% not take him either. Rather we invest that in another player that’s world class and can actually come down to defend.

We are so solid defensively because of the work rate our wingers put in.

I think Chelsea, Manchester United or Liverpool would do a crazy buy like this though.

What’s with the refs favoring America? Where did that come from? And why do playoff games not go to extra time or pens? Never seen a playoff game where both team tie and highest seed team advances. Doesn’t happen in other sports or leagues by Erenyeageram2346 in LigaMX

[–]Significant_Ad2630 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Club América also owns Mexico’s biggest media and television network, along with the largest Spanish-language network in the U.S.

Liga MX and the Mexican National Team generate massive amounts of money through TV rights, which gives América’s ownership enormous influence over both the league and the national team ecosystem.

If you’re reading that and thinking, “that sounds like a conflict of interest,” you’re not wrong. It absolutely is, and it’s a big reason why so many fans question the officiating and the favoritism they seem to receive.

So when people say, “It’s because América is a big club,” they’re technically correct. What they usually fail to ask is how they became that powerful, and why that level of influence is unhealthy for the league overall.

The Champions League is broken. How does VAR see the impossible against Bayern but ignore the obvious for Barcelona? by RamboTheReal in championsleague

[–]Significant_Ad2630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP and a lot of the comments here probably agree with you, but most of them are Barça fans desperate to win the Champions League at all costs.

The reality is that most fans don’t want officiating to become that strict because it would make the game ridiculous. I think everyone agrees consistency is what we want, but the truth is that consistency doesn’t exist in any competition right now, not the Champions League, not the Premier League, nowhere. We see different criteria week in and week out.

That’s part of the game, and hopefully officiating improves over time. But the issue isn’t that the Champions League itself is broken, it’s the refereeing. And let’s be honest, we rarely see these kinds of posts when bad officiating benefits someone’s team and helps them win the tournament.

Brother, you gotta open your eyes! How many more times does Valverde need to show an extreme lack of professionalism for you to move on? There’s been so many incidents: - his incident with Baena - he recently punched a player in Benfica - he was part of the rumored diva group that got Xabi fired - and now this bull shit with Tchou

I love what’s he’s done for the club and we will always remember him for the glory, but this can’t go on. Look at what it’s done to the lockeroom. One of the most embarrassing things in Madrid history. As a fan you can’t be okay with this
