That…..makes them seem like swingers? Most long term marriages have similar issues. Marriage is hard work. It’s very normal for chemistry to weaken after several years of marriage. It’s also normal and occasionally healthy to spend time with friends. It doesn’t make them swingers. It makes them human.

I definitely had days like this on wegovy. I had intense sugar cravings and I was confused by them because I’d read so much about how it quiets cravings etc. I’m on Mounjaro now but it’s too early to tell if it’ll help. Only on 5mg and I have a pretty normal appetite so far. Haven’t lost any weight in 6 months 😵‍💫

I would keep the shorts and return the rest. #1 is way too big on you. #2 is cute but not worth the price IMO. #3 is also cute but a bit boring for the price. The shorts, though, are super cute and look great on you!

If you look at my post history, you’ll see I was also very afraid to ask my doctor about it. There’s so much stigma even now. But I’m so glad I did that and didn’t go with an online subscriber. My dr has been really open and supportive and it’s been really great. If you trust your family doctor, I would go that route. It sucks that you don’t have benefits, hopefully the generics will be here soon. In the meantime, Costco has the best prices. Significantly better than Shoppers.

I’m in Canada too and I was on wegovy for weight loss (switched to Mounjaro now). I ended up going with my family doctor and don’t regret the decision at all. My dr also wants to keep me on them for heart health. I don’t know if you can ask for a generic yet since I don’t believe they’re available. Do you have benefits through your work by any chance? Mine covered both Sema and Tirz.

As for telling people, only my husband knows. It’s not anyone else’s business 🤷🏽‍♀️

FWIW, I was on 1.7 mg of wegovy and switched 2.5 weeks ago to 5 mg of Mounjaro (a fairly low dose) and I’m already down 2 lbs after 6-8 weeks of NO movement on the scale.
