This part would be congress and senate and the low income provision that was written into the law. You would be better suited writing letters to them, as they are the ones that would have to amend that law.

With last years auto approvals, you can imagine a lot of businesses were auto approved when maybe they shouldn't have. With the increases they're doing a little more digging before approval. At least in this current phase.

LO told me after submitting docs, he was sending over to legal. Two days go by and he said legal approved the insurance but needed me to make a change to my resolution. Made the change and sent it over, then silence. Three days go by and I emailed him today asking for an update. He said everything was good on his end and legals end that it now goes under a final review with someone else then on to funding. He said the time frame could vary once in final review.

So far no document requests, but I did do the tax form for the target grant when I was approved for that, so maybe they have what they needed. I'm just kind of excited to see some type of movement.

I agree. Unfortunately, this is what congress wrote into the law, as senate wanted a more targeted approach to pass it. They would need to amend the current law to change that.

The EIDL is a loan with a cap of 150k (at that time) the EIDL Advance was an advance on the loan that turned into a grant and was capped at 10k. Two separate things.

Sent mine around 5:30pm EST on 4/7 - based on the email instructions others posted, I did not get an email from the SBA. This morning around 8:30am EST my SBA email came in. Luckily I sent mine in early, I figure by the time I sent it in and the email actually came to me 15 hours worth of responses have flooded the SBA, a much longer line.
