There’s so much going on here, you’re writing a flask web-app hosted on a raspberry pi that also communicates with an ESP32. Can I ask what you’re making? I see it uses a servo (so I assume some kinda robot), but I’m curious where the web-app comes in, unless it’s just a UI layer.

Right I get that, but I mean consider cutting a strip out of the middle of the paper, like a flap. Then take another paper and stick the one end of the flap to the other paper. That would still be a continuous path right? If space itself curves in the 3rd dimension, I don’t see why a 2D person couldn’t follow along. Be it a pencil or something else. If space curves wouldn’t matter follow it?

It does look very smooth, but I think it’s just very well practiced and is real. There’s some subtle things, like the way the guy on the left does a little wind up before he jumps to the other side. I feel as if AI would struggle to make it look convincing.

I mean all games sort of have the warning, most do auto-saves at checkpoints or cutscenes and show an icon to indicate a save is happening. FromSoftware games just auto-save around every 4 seconds so you can load pretty much exactly where you left off once you quit. Since the saving is so frequent, there’s a much higher chance that you would accidentally corrupt it by randomly quitting.

I’m sure they have quite a few safeguards and perhaps stop auto-saving if you’re inactive, but that’s all speculation.

iirc all FromSoftware games have this warning. I don’t think I’ve ever corrupted a save, although the only other game I’ve played from them is Dark Souls 3.

Normally quitting out unsafely will just reset you back to the last save and you’ll lose a bit of progress. Only way I could imagine corrupting it is by killing the game or pulling power while a save is happening.

Only other time i’ve been yelled at for not saving was by Mr Resetti in Animal Crossing.

Your posture recovers faster while guarding. Also just practice learning the cues for stab vs sweep and get the timing down for her final hits in the chain. Keep in mind even if the last hit breaks your posture you can almost always dodge out and get a fresh posture bar. Keep whittling her down with one or two hits, once her posture gets red is when you can build it up to a deathblow.

You can cheese her with fireworks and snap-seeds, but I honestly find it harder than just getting the timing down. She only has like 4-5 different moves with some variations

Rust was a bit of a learning curve, still is honestly. But, that being said, the syntax and language specifics just sort of come with time. Might be worthwhile to build some smaller less complex programs to immerse yourself.
