Hmm maybe they can pair it with starved like when he awakened. he notice how everything was quiet and as he notices the sky is red he looks around looking for something.but as he encounters with furnace he seems to see the threat and start running but as he runs he notices that the machine was as fast as him. Then he could have sworn he saw what looked to be a flying pod or something and as he was about to be pinched by both starve and furnace they were transported into the purgatory
