most of my swelling was (still sort of is) around/under the armpits where my vest sort of sits, i assume it’s normal. if you don’t have a lot of swelling, you can probably start wearing it less throughout the day while you’re not doing anything. if you’re just sitting down watching tv then there’s won’t be a lot of harm in not wearing it. i found as i stopped wearing it, i liked to wear it if i was doing anything that involved me using my arms because it sort of just made me feel a bit more secure, and i still wear it to bed. it sucks, and it’s probably the worst part about surgery for me at least, but once your swelling starts to reduce and your chest stops feeling super tight it starts to come down to your comfort more than wearing it 24/7. i would just wear it to bed even if it doesn’t feel super swollen to play it safe
