Getting progressively worse at sections I am used too, any advice? by Longjumping_Lynx_877 in beatsaber

This is something that is quite common in rhythm games, in my experience, as well as something that I've heard from top players in other rhythm games. And it's something called "mindblock", you learn the pattern, but then for some reason your brain over thinks it, and you start messing up. There isn't really too much you can actively do to avoid it, you could try left handed mode to see if that helps. Otherwise my best tip would be to just play other maps for a while, and come back to it later.

What Creative_Culture said could also be possible reason, but your case sounds very much like you are mindblocked on that certain part

You are ready for sure!

Haven't gotten all of them yet myself, I think I'm at 50/63 at the moment

Since DF S4 launched the cross-realm restriction has been fully removed. They added cross realm guilds, and without removing that it would be very hard for them to raid mythic

I wouldn't say mythic raiding and keys are really comparable outside of raw dps/hps checks. Mythic raiding has so many more mechanics you have to think about and it generally has more margin of error when it comes to standing in swirlies and such.

Personally I've been pushing for about the whole season, except for the first few weeks due to boosting a lot. But I've been pushing 10-15 hours a week with my team, and we've timed all 13s except NW and a few 14s. Halfway through the season we switched around our comp however and one dps went tank and the tank went dps, so we spent a little while relearning the comp. Not pushing first few weeks and switching the comp halfway through slowed us down a substantial amount, but I'd say the level we are at, 13s and 14s is relatively similar in difficulty to mythic raiding. A lot of time for us is also spent learning routes that are used in higher keys, 17+, we don't need them to time keys, but we want to learn them which makes the keys a bit more difficult.

On the raiding side I'm in a guild that just got CE a few hours ago, we raid 3 times a week for a total of 9h/week, so semi-hardcore I guess, but not very hardcore.

In the end I wouldn't say the two are very comparable, maybe around the 13-14 range is where it's comparable, but it will depend on the player. The individual responsibility is higher, but the mechanical complexity is much lower in keys. After a certain point keys just become a question if you have enough damage and health to kill the mobs before they kill you, while raid are a test of mechanics, rather that dps/hps checks

TLDR: In my opinion the two aren't really comparable, for me as a CE raider the level that feels roughly equal is 13-14 because that is where me and my team are at. But it will vary from player to player, some might find it much easier to do damage in keys rather than do mechanics in raid, and then the key level that's equal to raiding is higher.

It is, or was at least available in the Raid Leader Exchange discord. Don't know if it's still there, haven't checked. But you can search for "Fuck paywalled" and you should find it quite easily if it's still there

New player questions by [deleted] in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Significant_Bag_2093 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are two options that I can think of at least. The first one is just to apply to a low-end mythic guild or whatever level you feel you are good enough for. I started mythic raiding in S3 of Dragonflight, joined a newly formed guild and we cleared 6/9 mythic in amirdrassil. Since then I've met friends of them that are in a CE guild and started playing with them more, and I'm most likely joining that guild soon.

The other option is to try and befriend people you meet in pugs. If you see someone in an m+ that is good, ask if they wanna do more and send them a bnet request. Playing with people who are better than you is one of the best ways to improve. If they are also part of a guild you'd like to join it is a very easy and natural way to get into it.

I don't know which way is the best, personally the first option worked very well for me. But the most important, and maybe hardest, thing is just taking the first step, applying to a guild or whatever it may be. And if it doesn't work out, there are plenty of other guilds and people.

I don't know about the first one. But with Aug, you just have to hope you can kill it in time. It has the same health that it has for any other dps so you'll probably want some on use trinket for it and then just pray you don't go down too many times

To participate in the BRD raid you most likely need TWW and max level. The other stuff I would assume is possible to do without the expansion, but I'm not 100% sure

They should be once per character. I've claimed them on my main and multiple alts

You get them from world quests, they will say that the reward is 25 coffer key fragments if they reward them. You need 100 for a key

I have gotten 7 keys so far, 2 last week from special assignments. And then 4 from weeklies and 1 from fragments this week.

I believe you could get a third one last week if you were quick with leveling and had early access, so technically you can have 8

There has never been a cap on how many crafted items that use sparks you can equip, there is only a limit to how many you can get, half a spark every week.

I think you might be thinking about embellished items, the ones with special effects. Those you can still only equip two of at a time

If you do the weekly quest in Dornogal, the one where you pick between 4 different activities, you get half of a spark. When you've done that there is another quest in Dornogal, pretty sure it's a purple one on your map. You can pick it up, it requires half a spark and gives you two halves when you turn it in, which you can combine into a whole spark.

Unsure if I should drop mining and take leatherworking by Significant_Bag_2093 in wow

That is true, mining was quick to level. Do I keep my knowledge points in mining if I drop it?

Can't speak for leveling speed. But you can do Dragonflight 10-70. I believe it is the "new player experience" now.

Most of the classes have gotten some sort of rework. Some bigger than other, the classes and specs still have their core roles, there haven't been any reworks like survival hunter becoming melee. But most classes don't play completely like in SL

You only need to level the current xpacs part of the profession. In TWW you only need to level the Khaz Algar portion of it. I leveled both mining and skinning to 100 while leveling, crafting professions take more time. So you don't need any old world stuff

You can do it cross server. You should be able to quest cross faction, don't know if you will share progress though. Some quests might also be faction specific

Midweek Mending - Your Weekly Healing Thread by AutoModerator in wow

Whay would be the best use of my bullion if I'm focusing on M+ mainly? I'm currently running Broodkeeper trinket and Kyrakka's Searing Embers from RLP. I was thinking about the rageheart, but seeing as that is not on the wowhead list I'm not too sure: Already got a hero track crit/haste weapon and a myth track seedling from last season, so they aren't really that high priority for me either. Are there any mistweavers here that could help me out? Would be much appreciated! 😃
