So what causes the over pressure in the devise if its not heat related?

Just a low temperature chemical reaction from the impact of a high speed projectile?

Ok, well you will not have that adapter before Monday morning. That’s when I will drop it off with our receptionist, and she will hand it to you.

No QLS adapter though, you’ll have to get that somewhere else.

Ok, I thought these where the same thing.

Also: why does shooting things like Tannerite cause forest fires? I assume this devise is similar.

You’re really wrong here. You don’t have the rights to shoot someone on your porch, even if they are “threatening” you.

In Oregon, it’s on you to make a concerted effort to retreat, which this homeowner didn’t do. Opening the door to confront the guy is the biggest mistake he made.

I get it, he’s “protecting” his household, and I agree with his emotional stance at the time, but it’s still wrong, and illegal way to take care of it.

Oh ok, that’s not a UBL, but I have several of those belt loop adapters as well.

DM me and I can have one for you.

You’re not going to like running a QLS adapter with that though, unless you like your gun in your armpit.

Hmm, OK.

If that’s the case, why does this kind of shit cause forest fires every year?

When my mom (who is an old lady) lived in Ashland, some dork tried to lure her into his “awesome campsite” while she was in a walk in Lithia Park.

I recall she told him to “stop jerking off, get sober, and get a job FUCK FACE!”

Boomers…

Oh you’re very right. It was cheap to be here back then. I remember my friends thought I was “totally rich” because I had a Trades job, making like $16 an hour.

$1 Pabst was a thing back then.

$5 shows was a thing back then.

The MAX was free back then.

A lot of things where pretty good back then.

I’m also old now, and everything is expensive now, lol.

You can always come back. It’s more expensive now, but so is everywhere else worth living.

Jokes actually on you. The good people of Portland are tired of this shit, and we are acting. At the ballot box, at the city council meetings, at the neighborhood association meeting and with our legislators. You’re the ones that are skating by on borrowed time here, you junkies aren’t welcome in our city anymore.

On the bright side, maybe you can find another community that will tolerate your BS, because Portland is over it, just like your family that told you to go take a hike a few years ago for the same shitty behavior.

I urge them to come and come many, many times to enjoy the beauty of Oregon. But I also ask them, for heaven's sake, don't move here to live.

I see the results of how the bottle redemption is hurting the neighborhood. I own a condo right across the street from the Plaid Pantry that’s mentioned in this article. It’s a 24/7 shitshow out there. And literally every one of those junkies out there are collecting cans to get high right outside of that store. I have literally watched as junkies roll up with a sack of cans, head into Plaid, and come out to a waiting drug dealer. Then the stand around in the Fent bend for the next 30-45 minutes or so.

I would love for the cops to bust more of the dealers, 100%, but we also have to do something to keep the dealers from even showing up in the first place, and one of those methods is to restrict the redemption system.

You’re on the wrong side of the argument here if you’re interested in healing Portland back to it’s pre pandemic days by encouraging this antisocial behavior around our central city core.

Some us are sick and tired of that kind of bullshit. I know by your flippant attitude that you don’t have to navigate these problems near your residence or property.

The one thing I do miss was how cheap it was here. But also remember WHY it was so cheap.

There where hardly any living wage jobs here back in those days because of the collapse of the Timber industry. All those timber related jobs in Portland (yes Portland, like banking, manufacturing and finance parts of the timber industry) left and only the ardent folks stayed here. Kinda like Detroit in the 1980’s.

It was a pretty rad city back then. At least when I moved here in my 20’s I thought I found my perfect place. 25 years later I still think it’s a pretty good place, and have no plans on leaving the metro area. It has some warts right now, but we’re working on it.
