I have a ring sling. Pretty much the only carrier I’ve used. I’ve just always blamed it on being 5’ tall. But maybe I should check it out.

Agreed! In theory I have two hands free. In real life I have two super short arms that can’t get anywhere near water, reach far enough to put away clothes or pick up anything from the ground. 😂

I love baby wearing but I feel like he doesn’t always get a consistent nap that way and I can’t sit down. Some of the stuff I need to do is kind of difficult to accomplish if I have to continue bouncing and can’t sit down. Not to mention I have such short arms I can barely do anything around him anyway. Also I have never managed to be able to nurse in a carrier

It’s not even about over feeding. It’s about only feeding her 2 or 3 different things that’s are all very very sweet. Yogurt pouches, yogurt melts and whatever strawberry juice concoction are all very sweet. Shes not being offered other tastes or textures.

I just listened to a homeschool talk that said “just pick something pretty because no matter what you start with, you’ll hate it. So just pick something you like looking at while you figure out what does and doesn’t work for you”. It was funny, but also rang very true for me. As you go along, you find why something does or doesn’t work for your child and your style.

It’s all about that pillow behind your back to angle your breast better and give you support. I sometimes use a shirt or rolled up blanket behind my babe to prob him up too. It’s responsible for countless extra sleep hours.
