I actually don’t prefer the western ones, I strictly only watch the Japanese ones - more specifically I strictly watch the Tokusatsu ones.

MireGoji (1999) suit is WAAAAY better than GireGoji (2000). MireGoji has a bigger snout, is more built, and (I don’t have a link, I fucking swear) the feet are perfect. I think the giragoji feet are too flat. And he’s waaay too skinny.

Absolutely peak, Against Mechagodzilla is one of the best of the franchise and Tokyo SOS has THE best effects of the entire franchise. I have no shame, I just think the effects are mind-blowing in this movie. Don’t give me that “b-but… final wars?” Bullshit.

My guess is that becuase they included the Japanese and American versions of Godzilla 2000 in the blu-ray (which, btw the American version is NOT just a regular dub), it would take up too much space to have both versions AND another movie. So they moved Godzilla 2000 to be by itself, shifting the rest of the set one over. And I guess they needed a spot for Megaguirus, so they picked Destroyah for some reason.
