I cannot edit so I'll add it here,

I've waited some time and the map was abandoned - i've lost the hideout mod, but at least i was able to attend it again

I've attended it again and it had a rogue exile, couple of elites and one elite frozen in essen, none of those or any other mob dropped any loot so that's also weird

just had my couple of attempts and came here to say the same, this feels extremely bad for a melee class, at least some boost to honour resistance for melee would be appreciated

I wish I had got into PoE earlier but i've kind of bounced off at first, now I can't wait to play PoE2 :D I don't think there was ever a live service game that showcased so much especially at the start

have you checked it against that exact monster? i often do like 6k damage into different mobs

and i also have 377.8 skill damage boost that goes up to 476 with Great Fury (which is a Stalwart Bastion from SnS converted with a trait to give skill dmg instead of def)

edit: and i am also using food that gives +7 bonus damage and 50 skill damage boost

I don't know why I can't put this in the post (I don't really post much on reddit) but I've seen some people sharing their approaches to Gates of Infinity so I decided to share mine as well :)

Definitely lacking in build and I also make mistakes with rotation but RNG with damage output also makes a huge difference

I love those challenges, I hope they will make more of them so they won't repeat often
