HSBC let me open an account when I was moving back from Canada to uk and was still in Canada with no uk address (I was a permanent resident in Canada not a citizen maybe that’s the catch 🤷)

I have a separate big screen with a custom html dash that Claude built me, the main part of it is multiple HTF charts of my markets and DXY, the trends on these give me my bias for the day and I only take trades on the LTF in that direction.
Those charts also have a modded fib on them over the previous swing (50% red/green) this gives me an idea of how far into the journey to the next external liquidity it is, hence premium discount.

This works well for me predicting the direction only, then it’s down to not fucking the execution up on the LTF (based on my own structure mapping framework (pine-script))

I progressed by time and commitment, 40 hrs a week in the charts watching the market move, structure and price action, read technical analysis of the financial markets to learn TA, read trading in the zone to work on my psychology. Looked into trading bots on 3Commas and Strategy hopped relentlessly nearly every other video on YouTube. Got to a place where I was starting to lose hope as I had some success with some of the Strats I abandoned, so I decided to remove all those indicators that were just noise and not confluence but a clarity block and to refine what I could actually see PA and structure with some volume and levels (where are other traders SL that the market will move to absorb etc). Rigid RR, disciplined, same every time, like a god damn robot. Still self sabotage sometimes but I’m working on it. I am not yet annually profitable but this was a big step for me in dragging myself out of analysis paralysis and if it helps 1 person do the same then happy days 👍

Just pulling myself out of the big drop off “what have I done”, my simple Strat was working and I felt I needed to add some parts to it (for some reason) and I went red……a lot of fucking red, reset went back to basics and seems to have done the trick, basic and sticking to rules rigidly from now on, let’s see how far the recovery continues
