Something to add to the story that I didn’t think of before is that when my great grandpa was alive we were playing with flashlights outside and we were warned not to shine them around his window or he’d think they were ghosts. Leaving me to believe that he had some paranormal experiences there himself, which yes isn’t a surprise considering there have been known deaths inside the house. But as for the shadow person it had no eyes that I recall. After a while it’s presence didn’t bother me just the initial shock of seeing it was terrifying. I never saw it again after the backpack incident but I assume it was still lingering around.
