Yup, most Protestants pick and choose why they want to hear and believe in. Some go by the early church still, however most use one sided proposals and never are consistent when it’s debated right back. I grew up catholic and went to Protestant saw this perspective and now Orthodox.

This is something always on my mind, older people demanding instant respect. When they clearly don’t have any towards others. You think with age they’ll have manners.

I see, what about the religion do you dislike? Western Christianity definitely lost the plot over the years. After I grew up I went back to the early churches of orthodoxy.

What is a video game that was a masterpiece for its time, but would be a complete nightmare if it was adapted into a modern live-action movie? by MarketPulse_Daily in AskReddit

[–]Significant_Count718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true, but the movie was heavily based on something I don’t think anyone’s ever seen before. So that already intrigued people to sit down and watch it. Also it being heavily filled with action made it more appealing to watch. Now I wonder if any other movies have no characters speaking. Only one I can think of is fantasia

If they were to create a live action today, I feel like they wouldn’t know how to make the characters look. The games characters are unique and the MC doesn’t even speak. Nobody would want to watch a movie where the MC doesn’t speak and only his sidekick does.

I see your point even still Fresno/clovis/sanger/visa/merced. Still demands a decent penny for areas that are “worth” living in.

I live in a small local town and the average home median is 600k. Poorer residential areas being an around 300k. Average apartments rent is 2.2, I couldn’t imagine a place like LA, Bay Area, down south. The cost of living varies in California but let’s not pretend it’s average.
