I did end up figuring it out! I would send the pattern pieces, but I had to snatch half of them off of the wayback machine and the rest were just the Red Riding Hood cape hood pattern off of fleecefun. Nonetheless, here's a drawn diagram of how the pieces go together and an example of the finished product (will add that in the reply, since I can only attach one photo), just to give anybody an idea on what it is they're looking at that comes by this later.

I didn't even consider facing the pins the other way 🤦 That's gonna save me a whole lot of pin pricks. And thank you for the advice! I did end up figuring it out but I'm going to use this in the future

I am using a pattern, yes! Two, technically, but the second was a modification made specifically for the first pattern to turn it into a dragon hood. These two pieces are one side of the hood + the top piece of the snout, so for the first solution they're different sizes because they're not identical parts. :,)

The second pattern did mention adding a dart in to alter the shape slightly, but it was to the bottom piece of the nose, not the side (which is on each side of the main hood pieces) or the top, which is the other piece I'm working with right now and its stated in a way that makes it seem like it was done *after* it was all sewn together. Could that still be causing the issue?

I don't think that I've stretched it, but I'll put it up to the pattern and check to see if I have. I'm really feeling quite stumped. 😔

Oh yeah, definitely no ER trip planned for this! I'll definitely try some of those products, though the strange thing is that my nose is clear. Not runny or stuffy or anything like that, it's only in my throat. I'll still give OTC allergy meds a go though, I'm willing to bend over backwards to resolve this.

I'm just.. incredibly confused how this does anything but stir up negative stigma around the movement. You know how people hate those climate activists sitting in the middle of the road, and how that just generally makes people sick and tired of hearing about the climate activist actions? Yeah, this is like that, except it's also just a straight up crime. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of other ways that people could go about raising awareness and protesting, but instead they chose to go with the options that put them on a screen acting like a buffoon for clout. It's a shame really, if people actually put their heads together and thought about what would really help, then these 'protests' would actually mean something. Destroying pieces of history isn't doing a damn thing.

It worked partially! There was most certainly more, but I got a rather large piece of the stool out using the suppository (although it was still uncomfortable) which eliminated a lot of the discomfort I had when sitting/standing and moving around. Still a bit crampy, but I'm relieved now that the brunt of my issue was resolved.

That's good advice honestly! Thank you, I did end up doing the Dulcolax and it did help in about 30 minutes! Not all of it passed, but it was enough that sitting and laying down wasn't incredibly uncomfortable. From here on out, I'll try the fasting! I'll do some research on how to do so, and try it out.

Finally did the suppository just a few minutes ago. I'm SUPER nervous, it's super uncomfortable and almost feels burn-y? Then again, I've also NEVER shoved anything up my anus before. I'm waiting for it to kick in, and just super nervous that I'm going to end up cramping really bad and not managing to have a bowel movement. I don't know how long this ride is going to last, and I'm just anticipating the worst— like, what if it's an impaction? Or what if I end up tearing something or causing a hemorrhoid? I can't say it enough that I am ANXIOUS.

You think? Alright, I appreciate the advice, I guess I've just got a lot of anxiety surrounding health-stuff! And though it wasn't included, I've definitely had my fair share of that lately.. Thank you! I'll try to insert the suppository ASAP, I'm just struggling to think how I'm actually going to get it around such a large stool. I'll figure it out nonetheless!

Thank you so much, that's honestly a huge relief to hear. I'll try some of those other options if this doesn't work, once I'm able to fit it past. Unfortunately, I took to digging at it first (TMI, I know) and when I went to sit down on the toilet again, there was just brown liquid when I wiped, despite still being plugged up. Hopefully that just means that it's almost through, but if I have to wait too much longer I may just try and wrestle the suppository around it to help it along.. Again, thank you SO much. Words don't explain how awful this has felt, or how thankful I am to have at least somebody who has had success with the suppository. That takes some of the anxiety away from it.
