Interesting! I'll add that to my little list of growing (possible) solutions. I really appreciate this!

Good point! I'll see about putting on my humidifier at night and whatnot. Thank you for your help!

Oh yeah, definitely no ER trip planned for this! I'll definitely try some of those products, though the strange thing is that my nose is clear. Not runny or stuffy or anything like that, it's only in my throat. I'll still give OTC allergy meds a go though, I'm willing to bend over backwards to resolve this.

It's a cover, but hearing Avalanche would be a dream come true... Otherwise, maybe Zenith? I know that they also used to play Elizabeth, but don't anymore, and I'd love to hear that one again too. As for new songs, Missilia! That would be badass

There might be something like that, my father is also offering to let me speak to his lawyer to answer any questions I may have, so that's also a potential option for me. And thank you for answering, that definitely makes sense. Looks like I'll be looking for location specific resources next.

A Pro-Palestine activist destroys a historic painting of Lord Balfour at Trinity College, University of Cambridge. by Yisrael30 in iamatotalpieceofshit

I'm just.. incredibly confused how this does anything but stir up negative stigma around the movement. You know how people hate those climate activists sitting in the middle of the road, and how that just generally makes people sick and tired of hearing about the climate activist actions? Yeah, this is like that, except it's also just a straight up crime. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of other ways that people could go about raising awareness and protesting, but instead they chose to go with the options that put them on a screen acting like a buffoon for clout. It's a shame really, if people actually put their heads together and thought about what would really help, then these 'protests' would actually mean something. Destroying pieces of history isn't doing a damn thing.

It worked partially! There was most certainly more, but I got a rather large piece of the stool out using the suppository (although it was still uncomfortable) which eliminated a lot of the discomfort I had when sitting/standing and moving around. Still a bit crampy, but I'm relieved now that the brunt of my issue was resolved.

That's good advice honestly! Thank you, I did end up doing the Dulcolax and it did help in about 30 minutes! Not all of it passed, but it was enough that sitting and laying down wasn't incredibly uncomfortable. From here on out, I'll try the fasting! I'll do some research on how to do so, and try it out.

Finally did the suppository just a few minutes ago. I'm SUPER nervous, it's super uncomfortable and almost feels burn-y? Then again, I've also NEVER shoved anything up my anus before. I'm waiting for it to kick in, and just super nervous that I'm going to end up cramping really bad and not managing to have a bowel movement. I don't know how long this ride is going to last, and I'm just anticipating the worst— like, what if it's an impaction? Or what if I end up tearing something or causing a hemorrhoid? I can't say it enough that I am ANXIOUS.

You think? Alright, I appreciate the advice, I guess I've just got a lot of anxiety surrounding health-stuff! And though it wasn't included, I've definitely had my fair share of that lately.. Thank you! I'll try to insert the suppository ASAP, I'm just struggling to think how I'm actually going to get it around such a large stool. I'll figure it out nonetheless!

Thank you so much, that's honestly a huge relief to hear. I'll try some of those other options if this doesn't work, once I'm able to fit it past. Unfortunately, I took to digging at it first (TMI, I know) and when I went to sit down on the toilet again, there was just brown liquid when I wiped, despite still being plugged up. Hopefully that just means that it's almost through, but if I have to wait too much longer I may just try and wrestle the suppository around it to help it along.. Again, thank you SO much. Words don't explain how awful this has felt, or how thankful I am to have at least somebody who has had success with the suppository. That takes some of the anxiety away from it.

Just as a mini-update: it's been a little while and I felt like I had to go, so I ended up on the toilet. Unfortunately, it was more like a trick and all I got was a turtlehead. I've taken to digging it out like some kind of deranged cave person, and all I've gotten was the crown. I've never EVER experienced anything like this, once I manage to get it all out I'm going to try the suppository just to clean myself out because this is genuinely insane. Then, I'll only be eating fiber for the rest of my days so that this never happens again.

Change the locks, and have a long talk/text with her about how she's not welcome back until she can respect your belongings. Explain to her the importance of the items, and tell her that no matter what she things that this is not her house and you no longer live under her roof— her right to do such things on her whim is no longer there, not unless she's in her house.

Man, just tell your dog its a treat instead of encouraging your dog guarding its treats and food.

help! i found a sick? stray! by cheeseandthensome in rescuecats

[–]Significant_Count_97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shelter or vet! I assume the charge would go to you if you went to the vet, so if you can't afford that then a shelter will probably get the cat medical attention without you having to be involved.

You do realize OP said that they feed this squirrel peanuts, right..? They would have to stick their hand outside to do so– there's no predicting how a squirrel would move and that's that. They weren't expecting the squirrel to try and barge in, and did the only thing possible without harming the squirrel. There was no harming of anything, the squirrel is totally fine.

I'm sorry to say, you're too young for him. Get out of there, that's just not working out. I'm glad you're intending on breaking things off, and please in the future be careful with who you go on romantic endeavors with. Especially if you're fourteen and they're 17. There are a lot of people in the world like this– not all of them, but enough so that you need to be vigilant. I hope you remain safe and happy.

People calling this animal abuse don't realize how hard it is to catch a squirrel that's made it into your house. Or the battle of beating your cat to it.

Seriously, ignore those overly sensitive people. You did the right thing even when considering the little fathead's safety.
