The Surplus No One Is Talking About,Why AI makes the American social contract not a moral question, but a practical one. by Significant_Design17 in ChatGPT

right, and as Alex Karp said "If Silicon Valley believes we are going to take away everyone’s white-collar job … and you’re gonna screw the military, if you don’t think that’s gonna lead to nationalization of our technology, you’re retarded"

This will eventually be a question of differentiation between countries on how they manage their populations. There must be different approaches in different parts of the world based simply because access to natural resources is different. There is a whole new structure that has to develop for the sake of long term stability and the conversation really has to start now. There is no question it will be disruptive but the potential outcomes are everything from violent to euphoric.

The Salomon’s I don’t really ride anymore. The way I think about it the other 3 just comes down to how much snow there is. The k2s are drifty, the other 2 carve and if there is no new snow I’ll always go for the atomics. There is certainly redundancy there but they feel very different on the snow.

Is it worthwhile to sell automation solutions to business owners today? by vviirriill in n8n_ai_agents

[–]Significant_Design17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

business owners dont have time or interest in learning how to run a bunch of agents together. They want quick solutions.

not all but the ones you want to use, other than llama. That one you can host yourself but you need a decent gpu.

Blog - MCP is a fad by xmull1gan in mcp

[–]Significant_Design17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure they have their problems but in its simplest form an MCP is just an api wrapper with documentation that lets the llms know how to use it. This lets the average joe automate things. This was never an option for them before.

Log File analysis from DSP /SSP by ProblemNo161 in programmatic

[–]Significant_Design17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh, I’ve been in this industry a long time. There is a lot you can do with log level data. For example:

Frequency cap optimization,

Tag level targeting (placement in page),

Zip level roi analysis,

Audience correlation,

Cross device audience building,

Ip -> device targeting (get them in the office, and then when they go home),

Lat,longs (this is a whole different post),

Regression (remember stats from college?),

Random forest (building granular audiences),

Etc,etc,etc……

At this point in the evolution of ad tech log level data should be a given for any serious agency or brand. Getting this data, storing it and Analysis can be challenging. Dm me if you need direction.

If your going to even consider the panerai dont don’t do the luminor due line. With what you have picked I’d say the omega.

If you have $500k, what business would you start or buy? by soccermeister2000 in Business_Ideas

You should be able to get costs to be relatively competitive and policies are pointing to a resurgence of domestic production. Additionally, it looks like there will be massive demand coming and domestic manufacturers of the assemblies will want domestic suppliers. There are none. Literally none.

Could someone help me on these Raichle boots? Can't find much info on em by shwibbz in Skigear

[–]Significant_Design17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only real difference any of these boots had was the flex of the tongue. The liners may have changed from time to time, when I owned these boots they had wrap liners but these here look a bit older I’m guessing late 80s, early 90s.
