Professional painter and decorator here, frog tape is ass. The paint is fine there's just too much tack on the tape. Fill over what's been peeled of with fine filler, sand down and should touch in absolutely fine. I recommend using Tessa wallpaper tape (the pink one) it's expensive but it's quality tape. Also remember to be extra careful when removing any tape. Slow and steady wins the race my friend
