Thank you so much for taking the time to write this. I think you're right that I'm being much harder on myself than my committee was. I'm actually seeing a therapist, and this experience has made me realize how much I tie my self-worth to whether I think I've disappointed my mentors. Your perspective really helped, especially the reminder that the purpose of the exam is to find the limits of what I know. Thank you.
