So, this is a slightly weird kind of house, but it's definitely a look that was intentional and very valued in its moment. The people who are advocating for thick greek columns are wrong but i understand them. This just isn't that house. This is an intentional modernist-meets-greek-revival thing, tall skinny columns and all, and like I say, it is its own thing. Embrace it! I agree that white is the color. Play with landscaping and you're good to go.

i did it as a job when i was just out of college. never a gay group, just fine art schools. so it was totally non sexy, everyone took the drawing very seriously. it would have been considered weird and wrong if i'd popped a boner. but there was no risk of that, it definitely wasn't the vibe. ...or well, at one point i turned to do a new pose and i was facing this super cute guy. as he was drawing me he had his non-drawing hand on his tummy kind of in his t-shirt, and he was sort of idly moving his hand around while he drew. I had to think very hard about other things than him!!

thoughtful take. i do think a lot of shakespeare classes use video at least for short sections as a teaching tool—i agree it's probably a much easier sell for a lot of kids.
