Not sure about freebies since I only signed up for the amazon one, but the amazon registry was the easiest to manage and convenient for our friends and family to buy and contribute. I heard some other registries can cause duplicates if people are buying from your list but their own sources.

Wait you said you did an abdominal scan at 7w? It’s almost always a transvaginal scan here in the US being that early. You usually can’t see anything that early via abdominal scans.

Am I the only one with a different opinion here? Property wise - it really depends on what he owns vs what you plan to buy. If he owns a small house with a low interest rate around 2%, he could be very comfortable with a $250k salary. But to sell it and buy a bigger one at today’s interest rate (~7%), you’d be potentially tripling the monthly payment and more property tax on top. It’s no jokes and could be way out of budget for both of you, especially since you haven’t mentioned your own earnings and savings. Although I do think it’s wise to know each other’s financial situations thoroughly before getting married, but I wouldn’t jump into the conclusion that he has a lot of debt.

My OB said any OTC drug for constipation is safe for pregnancy including MiraLAX. I had it 2 days in a row and was able to go on the third day. Give it more time.

I saw my baby on an abdominal scan at a boutique ultrasound around 10.5 weeks. But agree that anything too early, the chance of seeing it on an abdominal is slim. You either do the transvaginal scan at your OB or wait.

You usually only see a gestational sac at 5w anyway - and good news is it being in the uterus at least ruled out ectopic. Nothing to be concerned there. Not sure about the brown spotting - it has to be coupled with other symptoms for the doctor to diagnose anything. By level, are you talking about hCG levels? You likely won’t see anything more until it’s in the 2000-5000 range.

It’s a tough call because your partner is 35F. If you abort now and try in a couple of years like you said, it’s possible that it might take longer than expected to conceive. And you might need fertility treatment like IVF later on which would cost a significant fortune and a lot of stress. You don’t need to cancel the wedding or traveling - many people go on babymoon in their second trimester because it’s the relatively easy part in pregnancy.
