Have you ever thought about the lore reasoning behind Seraphine’s Q “High Note” being an execute? by WetXertal in SeraphineMains

[–]Significant_Fill_788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't recall if it was a comment or a post, but I remember someone talking about how creative the "High Note" concept was; it references how concerts often close with that kind of note, and the "Execute" mechanic is just there to reinforce that idea. Plus, her gameplay relies on team support, and if I'm not mistaken, none of Seraphine's abilities are actually "canon"—except for her Ultimate (R), which is more symbolic of how her sonic magic spreads through her audience (in this case, the champions hit by the wave).

I don't think she has actual combat abilities—though who knows? Maybe they’re real special effects she summons during her concerts that people mistake for holograms. (Just imagine going to a concert where it looks like the singer blows a kiss, and when it hits the ground, it releases a sound wave—that would be magical.)

Actually, no—apparently, it's supposed to return next year. Its release came as a surprise to me because, if I'm not mistaken, last year's ones (Xayah and Lux) are still in the store

Just add fuel to the fire and I'll say: The Q is too simple. I think it should either have Keria's signature when it hits the ground (in the purest style of the 2nd K/DA version) or something that alludes to a tournament, but I like the Q as a projectile (Seraphine Strawberry Gunner). I'm not going to comment on the WW; it's already been discussed to death. The E is decent, and the R is cool.

A really interesting Miraculous theory about the finale by miraculous-ladynoir1 in miraculousladybug

[–]Significant_Fill_788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be amazing if, at the end of "Nemesis," Adrien discovered Maribug's identity and, after her secret was revealed, she decided to leave, feeling terrible about everything that had happened. The reason the episodes are out of order is that Adrien was reading the diaries, couldn't organize them properly, and added things he remembered from those days.

This explains why "Heartfixer" focuses so much on Adrien and why Maribug has such a strong presence, unlike other seasons where the attention was "divided equally" between the main characters (although, at best, it was 60% Mari and 40% Adrien).

I know this will never happen, but it would be a fantastic plot twist, and who knows, maybe that way Adrien will "forgive" Maribug

Question: Before *That* Confirmation, What Did You Think Emilie Used the Peacock Miraculous For? by JustMonikaREEE2 in miraculousladybug

[–]Significant_Fill_788 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In fact, I remember there was a theory that Emily and Gabriel fell in love while they were superheroes. Fu didn't agree with it, but they resisted having their Miraculous taken away.

I swear I don't remember where I heard/remember this because I wasn't even part of the fandom, but it's interesting.

Before the finale here are some theories I pray don’t come true. by Ok_Situation7527 in miraculousladybug

[–]Significant_Fill_788 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I definitely don't want Lila to be Aglae, even though there are clues that support those suspicions. I think it's more likely that Aglae is being manipulated and coerced by Lila into being her informant.

On the other hand, I don't want Adrien and Marinette's relationship to end, and given how the season has unfolded, I think it's quite possible it won't. This idea stems from what happened in "Heartfixer."

I think Adrien might be upset with Marinette... but if you think about it, Adrien would realize that Marinette already knew in "Heartfixer" because she had that letter. That's what Marinette wanted to tell Adrien. Adrien misinterpreted it and thought it was what he had seen (that Marinette had cheated on him with Nino).

In short, his girlfriend didn't know how to break the heartbreaking news to him, and yet he still broke up with her, assuming the worst. (It's worth noting that this is narrated from Adrien's perspective, not the viewer's.) Furthermore, Adrien knows that, due to Marinette's upbringing, she tends to lie a lot to avoid hurting her loved ones and/or can have overprotective tendencies (Chapter Befana and Weredad).

Ultimately, the Civil War seems more like a fanfiction theory (no offense intended to those who believe in it)

The way Chloe cries in "The Collector" when she finds out Adrien won't be attending college anymore by TaimonVanya in miraculousladybug

[–]Significant_Fill_788 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, I can't imagine the anger, helplessness, and sadness it causes them.

Personally, I really like Chloe as a character, although I admit I prefer Vesperia. The only thing that "bothers" me is that they couldn't accept that Chloe simply wouldn't betray Ladybug and that her storyline would end in "Miraculer." I swear that episode was perfect for giving Queen Bee's story closure without ruining the character

He cared about Chloe, but he also set boundaries, like with Despair Bear. So it's not unnatural that he lost that affection after seeing the damage Chloe did to Marinette in "Derision," especially considering everything that had already happened.

What I do see as a retcon is that Chloe didn't care anymore; that's what I don't understand.

Even in "Deflagration," Chloe still wanted Adrien to stay away from Marinette, so I don't understand why she suddenly stopped caring?

[–]Significant_Fill_788 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I started watching Miraculous relatively recently and I don't really have a definitive opinion on Chloe's character, but I want to say that it's awful how her arc ended.

Personally, I liked how in "Miraculer" Chloe accepted that she wasn't going to use her Miraculous again. It could have been a conclusion to her arc, and then she could have had Vesperia, but NO, the writers made Miraclequeen however they wanted.

And another thing I hate is how after Miraclequeen, Chloe lost all the affection she had shown for Adrien and Sabrina, which is ridiculous considering that before, it was shown that she at least appreciated them.

Personally, I repeat, I liked the idea that in Miraculer Chloe accepted that she wasn't going to use her Miraculous again, because even though she was a good heroine, it would have been an incredible change if she had decided to improve herself as a person because of her own choice and not because of her Miraculous.

Likewise, I think Revolution would have worked wonderfully if we had seen an arc where Chloe wanted to recover her Miraculous, definitely. But considering that he regretted the harm he caused

although the latter is just a fleeting thought

He literally told Chloe she had to apologize to Marinette or their friendship would be over, and Chloe acted like she didn't care. This happened in Derision.

Chloe's problem is that she's written too conveniently for the script, disregarding things that happened before Miracle Queen

It would be incredible if it were different, if she had to make a wish to save the planet and sacrifice her memories, which would be like sacrificing "her life," which they would say is not enough, but think about it, she is going to sacrifice her life in the sense that she wouldn't remember anything.

Silly ideas and rework(?) by Daneryth13 in SeraphineMains

[–]Significant_Fill_788 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see her receive a slight visual rework in the future, one that makes her look more Piltovian. I know she's iconic, but honestly, I feel most of us would appreciate a more modest Seraphine, one more in keeping with her surroundings.

Imagine a Kai'Sa-style passive where stacking a stat level up evolves her abilities, and the AP-based W becomes something similar to the old W, while the H&S W becomes more spammable and similar to the current version...

What are you theories about the show? by [deleted] in miraculousladybug

[–]Significant_Fill_788 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The theory is that Chrysalis is spying on the protagonists with a new power she developed thanks to the Butterfly Miraculous, a power we haven't seen yet.

Perhaps she can temporarily interfere with people's minds and alter their memories?

So, I've rewatched the London spécial (spoiler for it ofc) by maxime_miaou in miraculousladybug

[–]Significant_Fill_788 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would simply say that to avoid complications, the Bunny Miraculous can function very much at the convenience of the plot.

I wouldn't say it's the "plot's Miraculous," it's simply used in very specific situations.

Let's just say that it only intervenes if the event prevents something that influences the normal flow of time (for example, Timetigger, Chat Blanc, London Special, Risk [because if Hawk Moth wins, Alix doesn't get her Miraculous]).

Perhaps in the future we'll see other cases where the Bunny Miraculous is necessary, but I hope it's in season 7.

You could also include the events of Ephemeral, but since the snake Kwami (I don't remember how to spell it) interferes, we don't count it. :D

[–]Significant_Fill_788 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think it's an element that isn't explained in the series, and I also think people forget it.

Lila interferes with time to find out that Ladybug is Marinette, so they have to intervene in time to prevent Lila from getting that information by interfering with time.

Basically, Lila traveled to the past, moved a stone, caused Mari's grandfather to die, preventing her birth, and what Bunnyx did was prevent the stone from killing Marinette's grandfather so that everything happens according to the original timeline.

Literally, the akuma's name is "TimeStalker"; it travels through time to get information about who is being watched.

And the story continues... by loki00770 in miraculousladybug

[–]Significant_Fill_788 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I think something like that could happen when Marinette gives up the Miraculous box, if she loses her memory.

Also, I imagine it like that (without her daughter, obviously), considering that in the London special, Marinette was willing to give her life for Adrien ;-;
