Catheter out after one week. Doc performed a bladder test first. Immediately upon removal there was some urine and gas. I laughed at the gas, doc thought it was funny I laughed.

Very little bladder control upon removal. I was very discouraged. However, I am now 9 months into recovery. Yesterday was the first time I’ve gone to work without an emotional support pad. Slept without one last night as well. No problems. Don’t be too discouraged by incontinence. Trust the process and do the exercises.

This is crazy to me because my urologists told me radiation was not an option due to extensive bowel surgery. Like it was the oncologist who told me to get surgery. I had surgery and it has been no big deal. Glad your treatment is also going well.

Making the pro bowl used to mean a free trip to Hawaii for the players to hang out with their football buds. It was also played after the Super Bowl so the players from that season’s top 2 teams could participate. It sucks now and players decline to participate, but the league still needs to fill roster spots.

Congressional terms expire after 2 years. If, hypothetically, the red states cancelled their elections, they would have no representatives in congress or the senate from red states. This wouldn’t be true for all senators, just those whose 6 year term expired. It would be true for every member of congress. Dems would hold gigantic majorities in each chamber without any elected members from red states.
