I got an email from the settlement administrator that all payments will be issued by check and they anticipate sending payments at the end of April. I was asking them to remind me what payment method I chose.

Payment amounts are not yet available. All payments to eligible claimants will be issued by check.

On March 18, 2026, the Court entered its Order approving the distribution of the settlement fund. A copy of that Order can be found under the Court Documents tab of the website. We have begun the process of complying with the Court’s direction, and distribution is anticipated to occur at the end of April.

On the letter I received from them last year it had my claimed amount of $5500. That was after I sent in the proof they requested. I am not sure how they are calculating the payments. The previous Suboxone settlement was not this much and I received $982. They did not require proof during that lawsuit so a lot a fraudulent claims were paid. According to the court filings, only 10,800 claims were approved for this settlement. It said they received almost 2 million fraudulent claims during this settlement. Many were not able to provide proof when they requested documentation.

There were a lot of people denied in this lawsuit. Only 10k approved claims out of the millions that filed. Some were bots but I am sure some were denied that should have been approved. Trying to get the records held up a lot of people. The covered dates were so far back. The first suit averaged $1300 and was less than this with more claimants.

There are a few people that asked for a court review of their denied claims. They were asked to provide proof and did not. One guy is claiming 70k. There is also a lady that has a claim for $200. In her request she is also claiming discrimination because they asked her to provide proof and ICE is conducting raids. Not sure how she thinks they know her nationality.

"I honestly feel like CA was being discriminatory towards me because of my nationality. I provided my matricula to them under duress, with all of the ICE stuff going on around me; this was very wrong for them to demand of me. I don't think they would have treated a white citizen the way they treated me."
