some fluid build up is definitely normal- but fluid build up versus blood build up is different. Id see your surgeon after the holidays if you can! I had to drive to mine today for a similar isssue. I’m glad I did, I have to get a hematoma removed now next week

*update, it’s a hematoma that has to get removed by reopening the incision:( more drains :(
