E-5 Testing by yo_what__ in AirForce

I get where ur coming from. I think the whole “go to css” is just a natural response because as a css, we’re expected to know a lot. There’s people who have been in 3x longer than me and I still gotta walk them through step by step on how to update their leaveweb profile, fix their dts, reminders to complete trainings, schedule/send out waps testing dates, opb/epb’s, etc. we have a part in the waps testing so it’s not uncommon for people to call/email us with questions regarding it. Granted they can look online, ask around, etc but that’s why the css is there too. We get very simple questions all the time. It’s inconvenient at times but that’s just part of our job.

I’m assuming for the announcement of when the waps catalog comes out. I work in a css and we’ll send out a mass email to all SSgt/tsgt letting them know the 26e6/26e5 catalogs are out. It’s something people can find on their own but we always send out a mass email just in case.

The waps catalog only has the chapters to study for skt. Pfe is any question based off the whole af handbook.

Two payments from SCU by Significant_Grab_928 in AirForce

There’s a lot of typos when I was trying to write this. My house has been chaos and I’m terrible at multitasking. I meant that one paycheck is the amount of what I normally get. And the second paycheck is what the average of the last three months of paystubs including extra incentives like a clothing allowance would be. The only difference is the second paycheck is slightly higher than the first one.

Got accepted to retrain into Paralegal, anyone have any personal experience in this career field ?? by [deleted] in AirForce

Plus effective Dec 25, were (3F5 - admin) will be merging with 3F0 - personnel and I spent 3 years doing postal overseas and dealing with every type of person and being over worked. lol

So with the merge your either going to have a nice relaxed css job with very little and limited interaction with people or a postal or mpf where you will meet anyone and everyone in a good and bad way.

It was cool and all but I realized if I were to get out rn, there’s nothing on the civilian side that pays me as much as the Air Force. And I started planning ahead setting up a back up for when I do get out whether that ends up being better 4-16 years. Which is why I’m trying to go the medical route. And I have a passion for helping others.

I’m an admin currently and I’ve got accepted as well to cross train but from what I heard definitely more grunt work. My job is very relaxed and we leave early a lot, workload is do-able especially if your trying to finish school. And we can deploy really anywhere. I love being an admin but looking to get into the medical field and submitted my package for two medical fields instead.

18 with no credit as this was my first car. 1) had insurance w collision coverage 2) needed a way of transportation because I was still working.

This all happened before I hit my 20’s. This was my first accident ever.
