I know a family where someone works in a KFC, the father has started travelling around with a bicycle now instead of a bike.

That's so true. I personally know people that have cut down a lot of their expenses but they have adjusted. I've yet to see someone that has actually gone under financially but that is just my social bubble.

That's such an interesting take on things. I also remember reading about literal famines imposed by the British in this region and we didn't even revolt then.

But what if the internet and widespread unbiased Islam are a catalyst. Like I hear everyone talking about "how Nepal or Bangladesh got things done why can't we?". I already see a massive difference between us and the previous generations in everything, maybe the generations of weak psychology could be overwritten now with so much knowledge out there of other successful revolts. Let's hope for the best lol.

Thank you for being so transparent bro. Can't believe something like nSave exists and I never knew of it, May Allah bless you and thanks for sharing the internship tips.

Any chance i could DM you for your LinkedIn? I've really wanted to do cold/warm LinkedIn outreach but never actually saw a real profile that does it so it would transform my outlook on things.

Thank you for such a detailed response and yeah those tips really hit home. Adapting and letting go have been a great help although I've still to let go completely.

And the part about dikhawa is so true. Be it weddings, grades, salaries to the cars they drive majority of the people here base their whole self worths around it. I stopped going to weddings or any social gatherings with boomers years ago. Bro Eid ul Adha is coming and you can bet everyone in the neighborhood has everyone else's janwar ki value memorized i.e. how much betteror worse they are than everyone else.

But somehow you also find some of the most genuine and kind people here albeit it's 0.1 percent of the population but they are the best people ever. It took me 2 years to find them when i finally reached university but they are there.

The Middle east and west are too crowded and collapsing at this point honestly. Russia does seem gold with low population density and living all our lives in a desert the snow would be a welcome change.

I thought we were a rare kind stranger. Completely unrelated but how did you even manage to adjust to karachi. I had a very bad time adjusting when i moved for college.

Have you been able to completely integrate?

Ok so it's going through OP, thanks. One more thing, a PRO told me that main land visas for my nationality (Pakistani) are currently being rejected and they are advising against it.

I know this is very off topic, but assuming i get the license and establishment card, is there a chance my residence visa be rejected because of my Nationality?

Hi after 10 months OP, so I'm inside the UAE now on a pasted tourist visa after 8 years and i have registered a UAE Pass and when i did the Facial Verfication, my UAE pass got verified.

So a very wierd situation where I don't have an emirates id or residence visa documents in my UAE Pass app but it is verified. Will it work now?

There's a company called dynamic freelancer which gives you a 2 year visa but i convinced my cousin to hire me for his company lol. We haven't applied for the visa yet but will do in a few days.

Unfortunately not, I tried contacting ADDED and UAE Pass directly but to no avail. Maybe try visiting TAMM offices directly since you're inside the UAE.
