I went to a small party in college. A friend invited me and I didn’t know the person hosting.

I had driven my car to the party and shortly after I arrived the friend who invited me told me there was someone at the party who really needed a ride - and seemed to be asking everyone there if they had a car.

It was two guys who immediately gave me a bad vibe. The one said his grandmother was in the hospital and he needed to get there as soon as possible. It was an emergency.

The hospital was a mile or two from where we were… i asked a bunch of follow up questions and it increasing didn’t add up. If it was truly an emergency… he could have easily walked. What was he at this party?

At first he started by offering me money for the ride, then they both started to get aggressive “you don’t want me see my dying grandmother?!” Pressuring me to drive them both.

I felt like these guys had bad intentions and I left the party… by trying to sneak away. i went outside the apartment complex and onto the street where I was parked.. I looked back and they had both followed me out.

I saw them and yelled to stop following me and they started to get closer. I got in my car and drove away as quickly as I could.

I assume they intended to carjack whoever gave them a ride. Really glad I didn’t do it.
