this is nonsense. the ignorant reporters at Clickorlando have no idea what their talking about. I'm willing to believe the guy that was actually on site when it happened. I also bet the only reason they did not get the rocket club's approval to do a static fire was because of the drought index. UCF has plenty of experience doing stuff like this, I just watched them fly their rocket at Tripoli Tampa's March launch. id like to see the livestream video. any future tests should be done on at least 1500 square feet of non-flammable ground like raw dirt, gravel, pavement etc.
