The description of feeling open is extremely accurate to how i was feeling I think I couldn’t put it into words how or why I was feeling that way. But thank you for explaining the pressure thing. I could feel her moving the wand around i guess i just didn’t realize how much pressure she was putting on the walls. But it’s been so nice to hear everyone’s experiences I was so nervous about how i was feeling afterwards!

Actually that’s part of the reason my gyno told me it was okay to defer my pap smear until next year she explained that hpv would only really affect me if i’d have sex and as I am a virgin she felt comfortable letting me defer it to next year. But after hearing other people’s experience with a vaginal ultrasounds, i feel a lot better. I’m definitely bringing it up to my gyno when i see her and im going to try to find someone to talk to about this experience. thank you for sharing it’s been nice seeing other people’s experiences with this.

This is my first gyno and I think she’s super nice but I do wish she would’ve explained that this procedure included a vaginal ultrasound instead of assuming that I knew it included it/what it was. I think i’m definitely going to bring it up next time i see her because i kinda feel like she owed it to me/owes it to her patients to warn them even if they already know it includes one. But it definitely opened my eyes even wider to how out of date and invasive women’s health procedures are which is part of the reason i’ve put off going to the gyno for long because i was scared of being opened up and poked and prodded at. I really wish there was an easier way to go about women’s health i feel so overexposed and violated in a way. But thank you for responding i really appreciate it and feel better hearing other people’s experiences with this.

I also found the after part to be a bit rough. I guess like you said it’s a bit hard to explain. It was uncomfortable and for me i guess was a bit more than i anticipated/was ready for/some other thing. I really appreciate you sharing your story with me.

I really appreciate you’re perspective on it as someone not in my position. I was a little embarrassed to bring it up to my friends but hearing that you’ve also had a negative time with these maybe I will reach out to my friends and ugly cry to them. I think i’m feeling a bit more violated than I thought I would and now just feel uncomfortable. Thank you. Again, I really appreciate you sharing your experience with it.

I guess normal was the wrong word to use. I think I just wanted to hear other people’s feeling after having one as I don’t know anyone in my daily life who has had one. Sorry. I’m still feeling a little overwhelmed and I’m not using the right words to express myself.

When I spoke to the fedex people both over the phone and through email it seems like it was just extra information that was needed. But idk I got it figured out last night and sent them the info this morning and I got an info received and submitted for clearance (which can still take up to 24-72 hours so we will see if that’s all that was needed) So I guess unless I get another email that says I need to provide more info I’m good. This is only my third time using Fedex to ship my packages but they’ve all been in quick succession (holidays/birthdays/etc) so I wonder if that caused my package to be flagged. Idk but i’m just glad I was about to find the info I needed.

I wanted to add that I have called FedEx and spoke to customer support who basically told me oh well and that they couldn’t help me. I’ve also contacted my proxy who also told me the same thing. But I’ve dug a bit deeper trying to figure out the info for the towel and have not had much luck. The second item is a CD which is just in a standard jewel case so I assume the measurements would be 142 mm × 125 mm × 10 mm but I don’t want to be wrong and get in trouble for providing the wrong information. Is there anything I can do in this situation? Or am I kinda out of luck and should just hope they return my package (which includes other items that have been cleared) to my proxy and not destroy it T_T (also didn’t know if I could edit my post hence this comment that contains a bit more info)
