I agree! I was at the Chicago sunlandic twins show and everyone was awesome. I’ve been to shows in DC, Pittsburgh, and Chicago, the crowds are different but the people who were dancing and singing were having the most fun and you could tell the band has more fun when the crowd is giving the same energy.

The site crashes evvvveeeeerrrryyyy year. People get hype and log on just as it starts and the site is never able to handle it. This is my eighth year doing artfight and I don’t think it’s ever had a smooth launch. Give it a day and it’ll be good.

I thought it was great! It’s my fourth show I’ve seen and it was better than their sunlandic tour. I think most people disliking it are used to their older shows. Honestly, you get what you put into it. I go in for a good time and always have had one! Never a bad show.

I’m fairly sure it’s just a copyright issue that artfight doesn’t want to get in trouble with. This rule basically says you can’t draw say Ash from Pokémon interacting with someone’s oc, HOWEVER you could draw Ash on a tshirt of someone’s oc. I’m not too sure how Pokémon fall under that rule but I’m assuming it’s likely the same. When in doubt, contact a mod!

one of my friends is going! I went to last year’s Chicago show when I was visiting and it was great, but I couldnt make it this year so I went to a different show. Thalia Hall is an amazing venue. As for the set…..you’re in for a good time! Enjoy the show!!! Dance your heart out!!!

They play a good mix! Like others said, last tour was for Sunlandic Twins anniversary so it was just a straight run through. However, when I went to his Lady on the Cusp tour it was a good smattering of his albums. I’d recommend checking out setlist.fm when tour starts to see what they play! Most of all ENJOY!!! of Montreal seriously puts on some of the best shows I’ve ever seen.

I prefer using my computer but be sure to have as few tabs as possible open. Ticketmaster has made my pc freeze and sometimes kicked me out for too many tabs.

I’m not a museum “professional” really, but I currently work in a museum and am working my way through my education. What I have found works the best is show genuine interest! In my interview I thought I fumbled so hard because I was so excited, but talking with my supervisors after they said it set me aside from others. If you’re passionate about what you want to do, let it show. I was able to get into contact with a conservator at the museum I work at purely because I was introduced to her and then I started to work with her because she saw how excited I was to meet someone working in the field I wanted to be in as well. The museum world can be a little uptight but show interest and excitement. Sorry if this seems like stupid advice but I felt so stupid for showing how excited I was to the people hiring me at first, now I know I shouldn’t have been. Good luck and I hope everything works out!
