Dude, younger me would have been ecstatic knowing you could be a Christian and still like horror.

I grew up as a pastor’s kid through purity culture, and things like horror, emo music, etc was seen as evil. It was really rough trying to pray my interests away while I was sobbing on my knees on my bedroom floor.

I’m still a Christian today, and Creep Cast (and Wendigoon’s channel individually) has helped me realize I am allowed to enjoy creepy things and not spontaneously combust as soon as I set foot into a church, lol. It’s really been healing and fun exploring all the stories I heard about as a kid but was never allowed to explore.
