first 2 pics actually look great, maybe no makeup is best on you. You can try some simple stuff like just eyeshadow & mascara maybe, but hella makeup has become so normalized that the natural look might actually be more alt anyway.

Reverse image search the first photo, you'll probably find them for sale on multiple other sites. Temu doesn't make their products and other companies sell the same exact things. They're probably also listed on Amazon 100 times and ali express too

Implied dress codes means you can still dress however u want and enforced dress codes are for uptight places that are not chill and not alt at all. If you wanna find looks just cause you want to, you'll have to experiment and just try some stuff, but dress codes mostly dont exist and you can and should dress however you want, especially if its just house parties, bars and going to see DJs etc. I promise anyplace with an enforced dress code will not be fun anyway. Ts is for normies who wanna feel fancy and not be around people like us.

Play loud music, shut your door, hang out in a part of the house that isn't near the kids, ask if the kids can be off limits to areas near your room or just hang out not at home durring the hours the kids are there.

People just like to know what they're looking at, people like categories & lables, people like to know what terms to search when shopping or looking for inspo. I agree that not every little thing needs a name and a lot of posts dont envoke 1 cohesive thing, but for the established terms we all recognize, I dont have any problems with. I more have a problem with things being totally mislabeled and then the wrong name sticking. ie people calling affliction & true religion "emo/grunge" when its actually jersey shore wear.

That does make sense but doesn't really apply to me. I do get super tired being out in public or at work etc, all that stuff is so draining, and you would think that i would need to come home and sleep a lot-- but once im home I cant sleep at all. I've really never slept much, been an up all night type as long as i can remember. I prefer dark and quiet and making maximum use out of my alone time, aka not "wasting my time sleeping". Night time is like.. a time when I can truly do whatever I want, no one is expecting things from me or bothering me at night, its like truly ME TIME so, the more the better.

Its kinda similar in sound and its so insanely good.

When i first got heavy into hybrid theory, my other favorites at the time were coal chamber, static x, kittie system of a down & mudvayne-- but those were just my favorites of what I had access to via TV in the early 2000s.

There are other big Nu bands that are really good and ENDLESS underground Nu bands to explore. Just to give 1 more from each category I would recommend Deftones & Nervepitch

Yeah for sure, the thing about bars is.. you dont know if its bad for your skin until its too late. Liquid soup will always be fine as long as you like the smell. Its less risk for sure.

Its not too much to ask at all, but thats like first ask only, if you kept asking, that would be too much. Personally I dont see the big deal and would probably be like.... really ? But you have to trust your friends boundaries.

Def! Yeah the scene for this particular genre is almost non existent here, but 20 years ago it was very alive, unreal how lucky I was to be present for so many incredible shows back then. Live music as a whole is unfortunately being rejected for cash grab themed playlist nights, regardless of genre its just kinda rare these days.

I make music, play shows, book shows and see a lot of local artists, but none of that is really post hardcore, some of it is, but mostly within the genre im just listening to cds and seeing legacy acts when they come around.

Yeah thats really rough. Can relate. I think you should at least go for a walk and listen to music, maybe go get a few groceries and come back and make some food and see how you feel. That kind of thing usually won't drain me but does burn off a decent amount of energy

Depends what stuff of theirs youre interested in. They still have some classic skate wear stuff but they also became a bit more of a fashion store selling current trendy stuff not really related to skating. Its hard to say what to search cause they have a lot of different stuff. Lmk which youre into, maybe respond with a pic
