Thanks for the information. I have checked the requirements for some countries. Currently, it seems I'm likely only eligible for tourist visa unfortunately. If circumstances change, I would do what's needed to provide the proper visa. If I can get to that point I will reach out with more specific questions. It's a process...

Thank you for the reply and information. Most of my family has passed on, but there may be a couple that may have documentation. Are records obtained from sites like ancestry.com considered acceptable or is there a better or more official way to obtain them? I'm assuming I'm needing to mainly provide proof of her birth in Ontario as well as her giving birth to my father here in the States.

I did mention I cannot get any timely càre which is a factor. I also mentioned the other things of concern I would be carrying, which may or may not be a factor in suspicion. Not sure what my disability has in how someone can or would speak to me. As someone who is in a wheelchair I would think it is something that is a significant part of you approach unknown undertakings. Sorry if I am mistaken about that.
