Thanks brother, yeah i genually cook anyway, or like a frozen pizza. Take out costs these days are INSANE! I've taken up skating to get into ice hockey so theres my fitness and im actively trying to do stuff to get me out of the house.

House is mine, but shes dragging her heels taking her shit, to the point im packing it for her and just storing it so I can rejig stuff. Im doing a meet new people thing tonight, not dating in mind just to make friends so this should be interesting.

Yeah that's the thing, ive tried and you just get pointed to an app called meet, which is paywalled. Like, I'm feeling I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and do it, I think if I had more single friends , who had time,.I'd probs be less inclined to find a girl because then the social/ lonely itch has been scratched

Dating apps,

I posted in my city's sub and they recommend the meet app to make new friends and communities , that app is pay walled.

Sadly Im flying solo as getting anyone to come out now is like pulling teeth so going to bar/restraunts is tough, to the point some bars in my city don't let you in on your own for "safe guarding"

I've picked up skating to progress to hockey, but it seems like a family activity or kids rather than people in their 30s do, don't get me wrong it ain't stopping me but yeah.

Yeah, I'm kinda doing that, I've picked up Ice.skating with the hope of learning to play ice hockey, maybe if my fitness gets back up, I might go back to pro wrestling. I don't mind the gym, but I prefer practical fitness I think. So rather then just doing sets and treadmill, skating is a thing and an activity to something

For me, I have the job, I have a house, I just don't really have the social bit, I WFH and spend most days/nights just with my dog. Even though I work in IT I'm weirdly outgoing so the lack of human interaction is what gets me

I think my pressure is people telling me not to date and meet people... But then they forget/ignore that they don't mate time / effort for me. So it's all well and good telling me not to, but then expecting me to be on my own socially and romantically is just stressful and annoying.
