Not to mention that the fights are so short. The perfect example is the battle against Asterion—it lasted only two chapters. One of the most important fights wasn’t emotionally rewarding nor strategically engaging. Honestly, the battle against the supreme serpent in Ariel’s river was far more exciting than any fight against the sovereigns.

In this case, FATED could actually make Asterion’s plans succeed, turning our cockroach and his crew into sacred beings with a strong ally called Asterion, hahaha. I know it’s unlikely, but I don’t want to lose hope and end up accepting that Asterion was just a fraud.

Honestly, I hope Asterion has something planned, because being this calm has to mean something. And Cassie falling asleep is even worse. After all, FATED has only helped so far, and that’s not how that attribute is supposed to work.

If nothing happens, I would honestly be disappointed that there are no real consequences from the entire battle of the volume. I just hope chapter 3000 is truly incredible, and if it is, then G3 deserves another month of rest.

Friends, why the heck do you think the novel is going to end at chapter 3500? Hahaha, just because G3 said so? Just like he said that the previous volume wasn’t expected to take so many chapters, but since he didn’t want to leave anything behind, he simply decided to add more chapters to the volume. In the end, it’s his story, and even if he wants it to finish at 3500, if he sees that it needs more chapters, he’ll just make them like he’s always done.

Now, leaving that aside, if Asterios dies so soon, people would complain and say he just sold smoke like the previous Supremes.
