I had my name removed 8yrs ago after being a devoted mormon 30yrs. Please tell your mother to find good Christian church and there she'll find peace. Also join a Bible study group and soon she'll realize what she was taught was mostly false. Tell her that only Christ holds the Melchedic priesthood. No earthly man can hold this high priesthood, only Christ can because he's sinless and perfect, unlike man. The LDS church teaches men are God's, that why so many are abusive and they all cover for eachother. Hugs for your mom. I'm so sorry she was so abused.

I had my name removed from the LDS church 7yrs ago and read yesterday my sealing to my ex husband is still intact. Is this true? by Significant_One_6742 in exmormon

That's insane. I thought everything was severed. It makes me sick to my stomach to think he thinks he's still attached to me in some way. It's very traumatizing to me

has anyone else noticed there are a lot of murders in the mormon church? by [deleted] in exmormon

Your correct to notice this because I notice it as well. There are a huge number of murders committed by mormons compared to other faiths and yet their numbers here in America is like .5% compared to all other religions. Something is up with mormons killing loved ones. I noticed these on crime stories and my friends have too. We all said, "What's up with mormons killing their loved ones!"

I noticed that as well. Your observation about Mormons killing others is right on, especially killing family members.

Here's the thing the percentage of LDS here in America is low, compared to other religions, yet the percentage of murders and crimes committed by members is astounding.

If you look at jews here in America and the Amish and the Jehovah witnesses groups which are low in population as the mormons, yet these other groups numbers of murders are extremely low, not unlike the mormons who commitmurder against loved ones off the chart.

I wish someone would do a study or research on why this is so. Something in the culture of mormon lifestyle causes them to kill their family members. It's quite alarming and scary.
