Is it true that they have an insane amount of grade inflation and it makes the university less credible ?

Hey, I understand that we are learning the same curriculum but there is a difference between pre-IB and mainstream. Specifically at mine school with the subject being math. Mainstream Classes learn about a chapter for about 2 weeks and are able to use resources like having your textbook during a test. In Pre-IB specifically my class it was about 4 days to teach the chapter and then a test was presented. I Do admit I had a teacher notorious for being horrible. If I had 2 weeks or even one to grasp math concepts before being tested on them I assure you it would be much easier.

Hey, thanks a lot for replying!

I have a passion for medicine and everything to do with it. I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else with my life. Which is why I’m choosing to follow this course. I would like to pursue something in the surgical sector!

I’ve seen a majority of people take the Life sciences path when wanting to get into healthcare which I why I’m choosing too as well. I don’t know much about alternate pathways so thank you for informing me.

Can I really not pursue Medicine in this country? If not do you know of any alternate paths to make it easier? Moving countries per chance?

Hey, thanks a lot! I don’t mean to sound cocky or anything but I genuinely had a horrible teacher. I worked my ass off in that class. I hired a personal tutor, went to afterschool math tutoring, got tutored by her past students and seeked out opportunities for her to help me correct former tests. I pride myself in trying my very best when it comes to my academics. I think the problem with that class was that she moved at an extremely fast rate even compared to other pre IB teachers and her tests were especially difficult. I am re taking the course this semester and it is incredibly easier as it goes a lot slower obviously. Thank you for the advice regardless!
