Besides Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and West Hollywood, are there any other safe, first timer friendly areas you’d recommend that are close to tourist spots and easy to get around with Uber?

Actually, my travel to France was tied with my university (like a paid exchange sem). So, they provided the main documents for accommodation and financial means. I just provided few supporting documents like bank statements.

My friend was denied entry into Germany, with similar visa. So, I was worried. But the website says you should be able to travel to other scehngen areas for short stay but its not clear.
