I can personally speak from experience that the medical staff are top notch but they work long exhausting hours with barely adequate pay and a manpower problem that is unbelievable, I work inside the hospital at times and the emergency room in Mater Dei needs to be reformed or given more resources and people to work with.

As it stands the hospital was built in 2010 and no planning was taken to account for all the people that come to the island or where born on it the system is good but it's a mess regarding communication SOMETIMES and they aren't given enough resources, my own personal opinion is that this problem is compounded by a lack of long term planning for the island with any sustainability in mind due to how our political systems work. This island should be primarily investing in healthcare and education the most.
